Kuih Nona Manis by Azie Kitchen
Ingredients A:
1 egg
1/2 cup fine sugar
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup flour
Steps:
1.Beat egg till its fluffy
2.In another bowl, mix sugar , flour and coconut milk. Mix well.
3.Then add in the beaten egg.Set aside.
Ingredients B:
1/2 cup thick coconut milk
1/2 cup screw-pine juice ( blend a couple strands of screw-pine with 1/2 cup water)
1/4 cup fine sugar
1/4 cup corn flour
Salt
1 tsp green food coloring
Steps:
1. Mix all ingredients B in a bowl and put on stove over medium heat. Once its a little thickens, put it off from the heat and let it cool.
2. Mix well batter A and batter B. Make sure the finished mixture is silky smooth. Sieve if necessary.
3. Set a side. (Mixture AB)
Ingredients C:
1 cup thick coconut milk
1 tbs flour
1 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Steps:
1. Mix all ingredient C in a saucepan and stir until it thickens.
2. Set it to cool before transferring into a piping bag. (Mixture C)
Final steps:
1. Get the steamer with boiling water ready.
2.Pour Mixture AB into small preferred cups for about 3/4 cup full.
3. Pipe Mixture C into the center of the filled cups.
4. Steam it for 7-10 minutes.
Tedious a bit but wallah!!! yummy...Good luck!!!
