Bismillahirahmanirahim
My own recipe
A
250g glutinous rice flour
1/3 cup of water
1/2 cup of fresh milk (warm or chilled)
1 teaspoon of green food coloring
OR
250g glutinous rice flour
1/2 cup of fresh milk (warm or chilled)
1/3 pandan water
B
1 bowl chopped gula melaka
C
1 bowl grated coconut+ 1 teaspoon of table salt
Steps:
1. Mix all ingredient A in a bowl. The texture of the dough should be soft and gooey but not to the extend that it sticks on your hands. If it does, add in more flour.
2. Boil 3/4 full of water in a pot.
3.Shape the dough into small balls with the chopped Gula Melaka inside.
Wait until the water is boiling before cooking your onde-onde.
Cooked onde-onde will rise from the bottom of the pot and floats. Net it out and roll it over steamed grated coconut.
I usually get about 30-40 yummy and very soft onde-onde with this recipe.
Try it out and Good luck !!! :)
